The Following video is a compilation of interviews that our group conducted. All the images used have been cited at the bottom in MLA Format. All questions asked were made by our own group.
CAUSES
Burning Fossil Fuels: Burning Fossil fuels are when we use resources that are limited to mankind and we burn them (Ex: Coal and Oil). This results in Carbon Dioxide (CO2) released into the atmosphere. When Carbon Dioxide is released into the atmosphere, it enhances the suns rays and these rays burst through the ozone layer and therefore the temperature of the planet increases by a vast margin, resulting in the planet warming up.
Deforestation: all the trees have stored carbon in them which they after a million years convert into coal, etc. Be that as it may today humans are cutting down the forests and all the green areas in order to make industries and factories. When they do so the stored carbon is converted into carbon dioxide.
Farming: Today more than 14% of earth’s greenhouse gases are coming from cattle and some of their fertilizers. Which in turn contributes to the enhanced greenhouse effect.

Industry: Many industries like cement production and the nuclear industry let out greenhouse gases that add more to the greenhouse effects. overheating the place as the heat is trapped inside because most of these gases do not pass out of the atmosphere unlike in the natural greenhouse effect.

Sunspots: With sunspots come an increase in ultraviolet rays that emit from the outer ring of the sunspots toward Earth. This increa. The idea that sunspots affect Earth's climate is still largely debated, but it is believed that the increase of sunspots on the surface of the sun can reduce the amount of energy and light distributed to Earth. This decrease in energy can result in colder weather and even "mini ice ages" on parts of Earth.se in UV rays affects chemistry of the outer atmosphere and the energy balance of Earth.

IMPACTS:
~ Accelerating sea level rise: An increase of the Sea Level leads to increased coastal flooding. This is because the ice tops and bergs melt due to the extensive heat. As the natural greenhouse effect increases ,it doesn’t allow the greenhouse gases to head outside the earth’s atmosphere, due to various reasons like industries letting out fumes, burning of fossil fuels etc.
melting ice top/glaciers cause floods, and extreme weather conditions make it very hard for agriculture and the daily lives of people to happen as scheduled or as they plan them to happen.

~ The wildfires are increasing and the flora, fauna, and the humans living nearby are at danger, as the wildfires are destroying the animals habitat and causing damage to the vegetation of the humans.
~ Increase in the amount of Heat Waves: Due to the extremely scorching weather due to Global Warming, the amount of heat waves are increasing each day. This causes much harm to the health conditions of people around them.
~ Due to the various issues caused by this global warming there are some threats to the historic and well known places of various countries. For instance:The statue of Liberty in New York is turning green due to the acid rain which in turn is caused due to all the factories letting out fumed gases and getting trapped in the atmosphere. Also there has been an increase in hurricanes and floods which can damage the monument.
~ As there is way more heat and drought that is caused by the global conditions today there is a lot of forest regions on risk on the present dates. killing many trees and leaving the forests blank and not green.
~ Changing health conditions due to the weather conditions implement much risk to the coming generations as well as the present as there is much air pollution, etc causing many threats to the people. As the gases dont exit; there are a lot of fumes and harmful substances in the air at all times this causes many breathing problems like asthma, etc.
~ Flooding and precipitation: As the ice melts extremely faster due to the drastic increase in temperature, there are a vast amount of floods in many regions and areas.
~ Droughts: as there are a lot of extreme weather conditions there is a lot of droughts that take place these days. taking away much of the places groundwater and also regions that remained dry throughout the year now are way drier resulting in droughts due to the extreme conditions.
~ Pressure on groundwater supplies: as there are a lot of dry regions there is much pressure on them as there is more demand due to the drier weather conditions.
~ Coral Reefs: Even sea temperatures rise, scientists have proved that even 1 degree celsius can cause much damage that cannot be reversed later.

~ Species: Many animal species are extinct or are close to extinction due to the weather conditions. For instance polar bears are losing their habitats due to the ever melting ice.

The above picture shows the difference between enhanced and natural green house effects. In the natural green house effect most of the green house gases would escape the atmosphere maintaining the balance. However due to many reasons today these green house gases are unable to escape the atmosphere, resulting in higher temperatures, change in seasons and many more things.

SOLUTIONS:

  • Stop Deforestation: We can stop deforestation by taking awareness campaigns so that people who cut the trees should know what is happening because of the cutting the trees  and how it is affection both our health and the environment.
  • Stop Factory Gases From Spreading In The Environment: The government should not allow factories that give out a lot of pollution to be there they should be banned so that they get awarded as well from what they are doing and that their health will be affected as well.
  • Carpooling: As one of the causes to global warming is also because of cars we should start carpooling because sometimes we have to go to the same places and we could just carpool to lessen the pollution that happens because of cars.
  • Recycling: We should recycle the things that we know can be used again specially plastic that cause a lot of pollution when burned Follow the 3 R’s to keep the earth a little bit less polluted.
